Senior Architect RIBAImportant: Only accepting applications from RIBA chartered architectsLocation: Greenwich London SE8Whats the jobSenior architect leading a small team working mostly on small to medium-scale residential refurbishments and new-build developments.You will be mentoring and guiding architects and architectural assistants, but our team is bright, ambitious and resourceful, so the bulk of your role will not consist of assigning tasks or monitoring work. And were a team who work as a team - were people who love collaborating.Who you areThe person we are looking for an enthusiastic client-facing Senior architect with strong design skills and a proven track record of coordinating design processes for small to medium projects through RIBA Stages 0-5. Does that sound like youYou need to be a Chartered Member of the RIBA with at least three years of post-qualification experience. And you need to demonstrate experience of the town planning system, building regulations, specification writing, procurement processes, CDM, and sustainableconstruction methods and detailing.Because the role involves taking the lead on specific projects, managing architects and architectural assistants, collaborating with our in-house planning consultants, liaising with built environment professionals and dealing directly with clients, we arelooking for an excellent communicator who can work independently and has effective leadership skills.Here are the six main traits we think the ideal candidate will have:
