Senior Android Engineer | Kotlin | Android | RxJava | Remote | £85kRole: Senior Android Engineer (Kotlin)Salary: £80k- £85kLocation: RemoteSkillset: Kotlin, Android, RxJava, Multiplatform Kolin, MicroservicesWeDo have been engaged exclusively by an exciting Scale-Up who are looking to make their next hire 4-5 hires in their Mobile Engineering practice, focused on a native mobile application using Kotlin. Youll be joining an existing a small team that is lookingto grow, surrounded by forward thinking, pragmatic CTO, Engineering Manager & Principal Kotlin Engineer who would brand themselves as "true technologists".Sound like you Keep reading.What makes a great Software Engineer in their eyes Great technologists, who are passionate about their professional development both technically, and in their business acumen who thrive in fast-paced, reactive environments that offer them challenge andgrowth.Youll be:

  • Well versed in Kotlin Engineering (Mobile).
  • Highly experienced in Android development.
  • Ideally, some experience in Kotlin development for microservices. (If you do not have this experience, you will have the opportunity to develop this)
  • Solid understanding of multithreading on Android and familiarity with libraries like kotlinx-coroutines and RxJava.
  • Solid understanding of how to make network calls using Retrofit and Okhttp.
  • Must have a working knowledge of DI with Dagger, Hilt or similar.
  • In-depth understanding of Jetpack Libraries (Room, Navigation components).
  • Ability to write Unit, Integration and E2E tests on Android / Kotlin.
  • Familiarity with AndroidX testing libraries.
