Job Description

ANALYTICS MANAGER X2UP TO £90,000 + COMPETITIVE BONUSLONDON W/ FLEXIBLE WORKINGHarnham are working with a market leader in Gaming/Betting on 2x Analytics Manager roles. This role will lay a key part in understanding at risk customers and putting precautions in place to stop dangerous use of the service. This person will ideally comefrom betting or gaming, or Ecommerce, have a background in SQL, Python/R and a data vis tool.THE ROLE:The Analytics Manager will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop your team by providing coaching, performance management, and objectives and goal setting. Ensure the team is motivated, productive and fully compliant with all regulations and legislation
  • Manage and own end to end analysis of Safer Gambling features and journeys
  • Demonstrate the value of your analytical outputs in terms of decision-making improvement and customer behavior impact
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with business and Compliance leaders. Ensure analytical needs are delivered on, ad-hoc requests are supported, and expectations are both considered and met
  • Report on historical facts to stakeholders to allow them to assess key trends and provide fact-based responses to business questions
  • Use abstract thinking and problem-solving skills to identify business opportunities and pinpoint problems
  • Find and implement analytical approaches to decision making optimisation
  • Use random controlled experiments and confidence testing to deliver new cause and effect insights from policies and processes
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:The Perfect Analytics Manager will have the following skills and experience:
  • Strong statistical knowledge
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (including VLOOKUPs, Pivot tables)
  • Excellent programming languages (preferably R, Python)
  • Excellent analysing large and varied datasets
  • Experience of predictive analytics and forecasting techniques
  • Strong application of descriptive analytics and statistical techniques
  • Strong presentation skills; able to articulate complex analysis and results to stakeholders in a compelling and easy to understand manner
  • Capable of clarifying hypotheses and apply analytical techniques to test them
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Good communicator and able to work across functions and location
