Job Description

SENIOR ANALYST£400-£450 PER DAY3 MONTH CONTRACTRETAIL BANKINGREMOTEHarnham is partnering with a global retail bank that is looking for a strong senior analyst to support them with a deep dive into a variety of analytical projects including customer, finance, supply chain, and more.THE COMPANYThis large retail bank operates across dozens of countries and taking the same customer-centric mentality as its retail partners this bank become a bastion of fair banking. The company is looking to grow their already strong analytics function by bringingin a Senior Analyst that will be the "right hand" to the director, supporting in a technical and strategic capacity.THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIESThis company prides itself on the variety of projects will be working on as a Senior Analyst, which means day to day your role looks quite different depending on the current requirements of the business. Some general themes are:

  • Working with international analytics teams across the Americans, Asia, and Europe. Mentoring junior analyst, supporting on any technical questions, and monitoring performance
  • Supporting projects in both technical and strategic capacities - Projects include building Churn Models, Visitation Mapping, Supply-chain/Manufacturing analysis, Customer Profiling, CLV, Campaign analysis, and more!
  • Using SQL and Python (Or R) for technical projects
  • Liaising with key stakeholders for requirement gathering
  • Supporting the business achieve its objectives through data and analytics
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEA successful Senior Analyst will have the following:
  • Strong skills in SQL and Python (Or R)
  • Experience building Churn/Propensity models
  • Knowledge of a data visualisation tool (Tableau, PowerBI or similar a plus)
  • Project experience working in Customer analytics, experience working in Digital, Commercial or Finance a bonus too
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
THE BENEFITSOnce placed a Senior Analyst can expect to receive between £400 and £450 per day on an initial 3-month assignment.
