This is an opportunity for an Environmental Consultant who has a background in Air Quality Consultancy with a strong working knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessments and proven competencies in Air dispersion modeling to further develop their expertisewithin a global engineering consultancy. The role will involve working within the odour, dust and ambient air quality team in London. The company currently possesses an impressive client portfolio and is looking for a Senior Air Quality Consultant to complementand lead an expanding team of ambitious and enthusiastic Air Quality staff and be immediately involved in projects throughout the UK and abroad.QualificationsBSc/MSc in a related environmental subjectFull driving licenseExperienceKnowledge of air quality legislation at the UK level and abroadProven experience of current atmospheric dispersion modelling packages and GISHighly developed report writing skillsAdvanced communication and customer management skillsProven competencies in air quality modelling and advice at an advanced level Desire to share knowledge and mentor other air quality staff to the highest standardOperationally proficient in business processes and systems Proven management skills and motivation of people Proven delivery competence at highest level, including Project Manager/Project DutiesAssessment of potential air quality pollutionDust and odour impact assessments from existing and proposed sourcesProject management on a wide range of process emissions monitoring developments Development of relationships with existing internal and external clients providing active support to promote business development Supporting ongoing technical growth and development of the air quality teamSupervision and review of work of less experienced members of the teamConducting air quality impact assessments and monitoring programmesExcel based data manipulationTechnical report writing.
