We invest in your success and you own it.The RoleAs a Multidisciplinary Risk Actuary at Stable, you will be at the forefront of pioneering actuarial strategies and modelling initiatives. In this unique and inuential position, you will collaborate with an array of teams, including quants, data scientists,nance, underwriting, and legal, to forge new paths in risk assessment and management. Your work will not just encompass traditional actuarial modelling but also venture into the realm of groundbreaking innovation, employing state-of-the-art technologies andadvanced analytical techniques.You will focus on multidisciplinary risk modelling, pricing, and risk management, crafting complex models across diverse areas like Yield, Business and Trade Interruption, Disease, FX, Credit, Labour, Politics, Energy, Shipping, Natural Catastrophes, Weather,Climate, Catastrophe, Contractual, Cyber, and Reputational Risks, and Pandemic. • Develop advanced actuarial models using statistical analysis and Python programming, with prociency in industry-standard software toolkits.
• Spearhead initiatives, aligning actuarial models with strategic business objectives and international regulatory frameworks like Solvency II and IFRS 17.
• Communicate complex actuarial concepts to diverse stakeholders, ensuring clarity and understanding.
• Pitch new business lines to reinsurers and expand the existing portfolio, driving growth and innovation.
• Collaborate, mentor, and develop a diverse team of actuarial (alike) professionals in a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and excellence.
• Stay at the forefront of industry developments, regulatory changes, and technological advancements, integrating this knowledge into practice.
• Foster innovation and contribute to actuarial research and industry publications.
• Uphold ethical standards and professional integrity in all aspects of work.

Qualications

• Masters or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related STEM eld.
• Fellowship with the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) or equivalent.
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Advanced problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail
• Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management
• Commitment to ethical practices and professional standards.
• Prociency in programming and actuarial software.
• Advocacy for diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
• Willingness to engage in continuous professional development and participate in industry events.
