Job Description

I am currently looking to recruit a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist from Agency to work for a growing digital branding & marketing media agency based in the City of London. This will be a permanent position.Client DetailsMy client is a growing digital branding & marketing media agency. Founded over 15 years ago in a small office in London, the company has grown to 6 across the UK and Europe. In their industry they have lead award winning campaigns for their clients and asa result allowed them to grow.During the pandemic they were proud not to have furloughed any staff.Due to their growth they are now looking to hire a Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist from Agency to oversee their Accounts Receivable, Credit Control and Billings duties and to work closely with the Financial Director to drive the business forward.This will be a sole role based in the City of London.This is a great opportunity for someone with a Media & Agency background to implement changes in a growing media company.DescriptionSenior Accounts Receivable Specialist from Agency, City of LondonResponsibilities of the role:

  • Oversee billing requirements and revenue recognition procedures, ensuring clients are billed timely and accurately
  • Coordinate with Account and Finance teams to develop, implement, and maintain key policies and procedures for billing, credit and collections, and revenue recognition
  • Identify opportunities for the design, documentation, and implementation of process improvements and increased controls to support the Companys growing operations
  • Manage and execute the invoicing and collections process, analyse all outstanding Accounts Receivable, and track cash collections performance and related metrics
  • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures for new and existing customers
  • Oversee revenue accounting operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of revenue and revenue-related accounts
  • Additional other duties and responsibilities, as directed by the Director of Finance
ProfileQualifications: Desirable systems: Sage Line 200, Maconomy, Xero, QuickBooksProject Management Software: Deltek, Scoro Receipt BankMinimum of 4+ years experience in Accounting or Finance rolesAgency experience preferredGood proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tech-savvyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate with customersMust be a proactive & highly organized self-starter, able to work independently and under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detailAbility to demonstrate excellent judgement and discretion in dealing with confidential and highly sensitive financial or other informationJob OfferThe successful candidate will be paid £32,000 - £35,000 depending on experience as well as additional benefits including health care and 25 days holiday
