SEN Teaching AssistantAn outstanding SEND TA is required at a Secondary SEND school in South East London (Southwark). This is a full-time position at an Good school with an immediate start.About the role: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and well-run SEND school in South East London. You will be working 1-1 and in small groups with secondary students who have varying SEND and behavioural needs. Previous school-based experience is essential and candidates must be comfortable working with primary/ secondary age groups.What you will need: Experience working within education with students with SEND or behavioural needs Experience with complex needs/PMLD/SpLD and communication difficulties are highly desired Have a firm but fair approach regarding behaviour management Be fully available to start immediately and hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate About the school: As well as working in a Ofsted rated Good school but also a part of an experienced and talented team of specialist staff who work in close unison to ensure a tailored education for each student.There are 8-10 students in each class and students have mixed and complex needs, therefore physical restraint training, ASDAN experience and other relevant SEN qualifications are ideal but not essential requirements.There is parking available onsite.Who we are at Opogo:Our Vision at Opogo is to support education, together.
