Job Description

Horizon Teachers are working with a Special Educational Needs School, graded Good by Ofsted in July 2023 who are looking to appoint a SEND Teacher to join their team from February 2024.The state-of-the-art SEND School in West London provides tailored support to children with Social Emotional and Mental Health, they provide a nurturing, safe, creative, and inspiring environment for their students and ensure every student feels supported, respected,and valued.A SEND teacher at this school will be responsible for teaching as class of 10 students with SEMH needs, they will be a group of mixed ability cross KS1 and KS2. You would need the skills to create, plan, and deliver quality learning activities and resources.You need to be able to use a range of strategies to support learning, behaviour, and personal development according to the childrens needs.

  • Job Title - SEND Teacher
  • Location - Brent, North-West London
  • Start Date - February 2024
  • Contract - Full-Time, Long Term
  • Hours - 8.30 am - 4.00 pm
  • Pay Range - £135-£250 per day
The school is seeking someone with:
  • Experience working in a school for children with SEMH, Learning Difficulties and Autism.
  • Can teach across the Primary curriculum.
  • Hold UK QTS - ECTs are encouraged to apply to this post.
