SEMH Primary Teaching AssistantA fantastic Primary School located in the Borough of Lewisham is seeking a graduate with strong academics and a passion for working with children with SEND/SEMH needs to join their dedicated and supportive team.   • Providing support to class teachers within the classroom
  • Assisting children with SEND/SEMH needs 1:1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with 2 children who are non-verbal
  • Supporting pupils in and out of lessons
  • Monitoring and recording interventions
SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant Job Specifications
  • Based in Lewisham
  • Working in an excellent Primary school
  • Monday - Friday (no weekends)
  • Long-Term, Full-Time (termtime only)
  • £95 - £110 daily rate
  • ASAP Start
The Ideal SEMH Primary Teaching Assistant
  • A hardworking graduate with strong academics and a passion for learning
  • Previous experience with children and SEN/SEMH needs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working with Non-Verbal children
  • Previous experience working 1:1
  • Someone resilient and able to overcome challenges
