You will enjoy being treated as a valued human beingand having ample opportunities for growth and development as well as Glastonbury tickets and lots of fun!In return for your hard work and committment, theres a generous benefits package including enhanced parental leave, an employee assistance program, doubled pension contributions and a progressive annual leave allowance.Working with fundraisers and campaigners, the Data Selections Team determine the best approach to delivering marketing objectives through targeted supporter communications, delivering marketing selections, activity monitoring and campaign automation.Overview of the responsibilities1. To provide influential leadership to the Data Selections team, supporting team members in delivering their objectives while challenging them to improve processes and adopt new methodologies;2. To lead on the overall planning of marketing selections, working with client teams managers to determine how best to maximise return on investment while delivering an optimised supporter experience;3. To lead the ongoing development of the marketing selections programme, working with key stakeholders to determine how best to synthesise insight, testing and regulatory requirements into an accessible, automated framework;4. To lead the organisations efforts to automate campaign selections and other processes, where appropriate, in order to drive efficiency and effectiveness of our direct marketing activities;5. To lead the delivery of in-campaign reporting, working with management peers to determine content, timing and how this is best distributed;6. To act as point of escalation for any unresolved selection requests, liaising with management counterparts to identify an appropriate compromise;7. To attend end-of-campaign meetings for all major campaigns, leading on the presentation of results and test outcomes and preparing in advance with the Analytics Manager any recommendations for future programme adaptations or testing;8. To work with the Analytics Manager to integrate insight-driven recommendations into the marketing selections programme;9. To work closely with 3rd parties to ensure the timely and secure transfer of marketing selections;10. To work with the Application Services Manager to ensure appropriate SLAs are in place for the import of data from 3rd parties;11. To advise other member counterparts on data selections best practise and, where necessary, to provide support to those members looking to implement selections programmes;Essential skills Extensive experience of using data warehouses, relational databases and analysis packages and working with large and complex data sets; Experience and expertise writing complex SQL queries within Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio; Advanced MS Excel skills; Excellent problem solving and communication skills; Excellent verbal communications skills; Proven ability to work to a high standard and with an eye for detail, working under own initiative and managing multiple projects simultaneously; Strong project management and team-working skills with desire to help others; Excellent stakeholder management skills: ability to build, maintain and manage strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation, engage them in a programme/process and challenge constructively where required;If you are keen to learn more, please send your CV to asap.
