Job Description

Security Sales Consultant - East London - OTE £50-£60k per annumOur client in the Fire & Security sector are expanding and we now have a new urgent role for a Security Consultant in our London East region, covering Romford, Dartford, Brentford etc. This is a field-based role.The CompanyYoull be given training and be part of a dynamic team for one of the largest security companies in the UK. Youll be part of a Group, who employ 53,000 people in nearly 2,800 locations worldwide.Responsibilities

  • Security Sales Consultant to join our busy sales department.
  • The role of Security Consultant within the group is very important, challenging and rewarding. The primary objective of the role is to proactively sell a full portfolio of fire and security solutions to both new and existing clients within a defined geographicalarea.
  • As part of this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and developing new business opportunities while maximising opportunities from the existing customer base within your territory, seeking cross-selling opportunities across all products and services.
  • Maintaining a target driven mentality is paramount together with a strong focus on achieving clear goals and objectives. The role requires a high level of determination and a dedication to being totally customer focused. Resilience and a strong desire tosucceed are other important attributes for this demanding yet rewarding role. Good organisational and planning skills, attention to detail, excellent communications skills and the ability to persuade and close sales are all key requirements.
Objectives
  • Achieve or exceed sales installation OV targets.
  • Ensure that CRM records (inc. diaries) are maintained promptly and accurately
  • Maintain a regular liaison with identified key influencers
  • Proactively research, identify and convert new business opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records within SalesForce for all customer/influencer activity
  • Ensure optimum cross-selling activity of all related fire & security products.
  • Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in conjunction with the sales manager.
  • Provide reliable and accurate sales forecasts to the sales manager
  • Fully manage a portfolio of existing customers and be solely responsible for sales generation from those existing accounts.
The ApplicantFor this role you will need:
  • Strong communication skills, to be results-driven and have a hunger to succeed.
  • Knowledge of security in sales.
  • To achieve or exceed Recurring Revenue Targets.
  • To achieve or exceed Key Response Targets.
