Security Engineering Lead - AppSec / DevSecOps / FinTechOur client is a leading FinTech, based in London in modern offices overlooking the Thames and the City with roof terraces, bar, gym and flexible, remote working.They build cutting edge, innovative trading software and are looking for someone to lead their Security Engineering and Application Security (AppSec) team.Youll be the senior engineer in a team of specialists, shaping the companys approach to security and implementing new strategies, tools and processes as you see fit.Youll work with award-winning development and DevOps teams to define secure development best practices, threat modelling, creating coding standards and reviews, and building automated code validation.Youll have a huge amount of freedom to determine the best way to accomplish these goals - true ownership over your work.Requirements:- A background of development and software engineering (Java, C++, C#.NET etc) is needed - Experience of leading application security engineering and the secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC) - Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, Kubernets, Docker and AWS would be perfect - Good understanding of OWASP and CWE etc - Experience of threat modelling - Excellent communication sills - A passionate for security and what you do!
