Responsibilities:Transaction execution• Key role in execution of secondaries and other GP-led transactions from start to finish, including material preparation and facilitation of investor due diligence• Responsibility for deal modelling and pricing analysis• Significant senior investor and client interaction during the course of transactions, including leadership of due diligence meetings and calls• Management of analysts involved in the execution effort Origination• Support research and identification of target clients• Drive due diligence / modelling efforts on potential opportunities• Assist in the preparation and delivery of pitches Additional responsibilities• Investor account coverage: develop and maintain relationships with key team members• Engage with other team members to understand all aspects of private equity fundraising advisory and contribute to the success of primary fundraising assignments as relevant.Experience:• At least three years’ experience of working in the private equity, private capital fundraising, investment banking M&A or corporate finance advisory sectors• Of these, at least two years’ experience of working in a transactional corporate finance environment (buyside or advisory)• Track record of client and/or investor exposure and impact• Some exposure to the private equity industry (ideally across both GP and LP landscape) preferred• Some exposure to private equity secondary transactions or experience as a secondary market participant (buyside or advisory) is an advantageCompetencies / attributes• Ability to “think on their feet” with good commercial judgement• High level of attention to detail, organisation skill and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines• High level of verbal and written English communication skills (additional European languages a plus)• Strong numerical and Excel skills, including financial modelling experience• Solid understanding of corporate finance (balance sheets, P&Ls, capital structures, etc.)• Experience of working in PowerPoint and Word • Strong work ethic, commitment and self-drive
