Your future duties and responsibilitiesAs a Scrum Master you will be responsible for pioneering, defining and governing the Agile practice within projects, working closely with the engineering teams and leads to provide the most effective delivery processes. On a day-to-day basis you will be heavilyinvolved in delivering projects ensuring appropriate and efficient delivery of prioritised work.You will facilitate all aspects of the Scrum framework including sprint planning sessions, backlog grooming sessions, daily scrums, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives. You will also be responsible for maintaining the Scrum team capacity plan, Scrum board,sprint backlog, velocity charts and burn down charts. Identifying and removing impediments to the success of the Sprint and Project. We dont expect everyone to have all of the skills below, but youre thetype of person who has the ability to get there quickly:Knowledge / SkillsPast experience in business analysis and a scrum master roleProblem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues before they become problems.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Leadership: The ability to guide, motivate, and support teams to deliver high-quality work under tight schedules.Project Coordination: Strong project coordination skills, including planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks.Risk Management: Knowledge of risk management processes, and the ability to identify and mitigate risks to project delivery.Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous improvement, with the ability to reflect on processes and practices, and make necessary changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.Coaching: Ability to coach teams in Agile principles and practices.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of software development lifecycle, DevOps, and IT operations.Team working: Working with Development Teams to achieve the Programme deliverables.Deep Understanding of Agile Methodologies: Knowledge of various Agile frameworks and ability to apply them appropriately.Hands-on with data management skills on MS Excel and with database query languages.Experience with tooling and technology that support all aspects of the software development lifecycle in an agile environment including, but not limited to: -Azure DevOps Boards for Backlog and ManagementAzure DevOps Analytics and Reporting#CF-1 Insights you can act onWhile technology is at the heart of our clients digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.When you join CGI, you become a trusted advisor, collaborating with colleagues and clients to bring forward actionable insights that deliver meaningful and sustainable outcomes.
