Science Teacher needed ASAP in an Outstanding coeducational Secondary school and sixth form in South London.The school is seeking a Science Teacher with experience of teaching KS3 and KS4.This Science Teacher role can be part or full time.Other responsibilities for this Science Teacher role will include planning of lessons, effective logging/tracking of pupil progress and attendance to team meetings/parents evenings.The rates of pay for this Science Teacher position will be between £130 to £230 a day, depending on the qualifications and experiences of each candidate.The SchoolA heavily subscribed school with a percentage of pupils applying to Russell Group universities.Providing a balanced and broad curriculum, the school focuses on subjects that contribute to the Science Baccalaureate.The proportion of pupils achieving this at the end of Year 11 is well above the national average.Extra-curricular activities also play a large part of the schools life, including music and sports events, as well as museum trips.In terms of academic achievements, the school produces results that placed it within the top 1% nationally for the fifth year running.With a Progress 8 score of 0.96, students achieve more than one grade higher than they would in an average school. Such progress, alongside the best A-level results in the borough, reflect the exceptional dedication with which everyone in the school hasapplied themselves.It is the schools aim to make sure that staff are as well supported as they can be.
