Job Description

** Full Time Science Technician + COVID19 team member **** Secondary School - Redbridge **** Starting Monday 8th March **We are currently working with a secondary school in Redbridge who are looking for Science Technicians. This is a long term full time position starting on Monday 8th March 2021.The Science Techncians may be asked to contribute to the COVID-19 testing efforts at school.The successful science technician will be:

  • Assisting with, and managing, the science equipment in the science department
  • Comfortable with providing support in Biology, Chemistry and Physics areas
  • Preparing equipment and aparatus before lessons in accordance to teacher requirements
  • Assisting with COVID-19 testing programme whenever required
    • You MUST have:
  • Previous experience working with children in a school environment
  • Previous science education i.e. degree in a related subject
  • An Enhanced DBS on the online update service
  • A passion for everything science!
  • A bubbly and approachable personality
  • Access to public transport (closest station is Wanstead/Redbridge on the Central Line)
