Job Description

Position: SC Cleared AWS Data Architect - Outside IR35 Contract Location: Hybrid (2/3 days on site in Croydon or London)Role Overview: As a SC Cleared AWS Data Architect, you will play a pivotal role within our Data Engineering team, contributing to cutting-edge projects in the public sector. This Outside IR35 contract offers a rolling nature, providing stability and opportunitiesfor long-term engagement.Main Responsibilities:

  1. AWS Expertise: Utilize your extensive proficiency in various AWS services and tools to architect, design, implement, and manage robust and scalable data solutions.
  2. Security Clearance: Maintain and leverage your SC Clearance to ensure adherence to stringent security protocols and regulations in the development and maintenance of data architecture.
  3. Programming Skills: Apply your advanced programming skills, particularly in Python or SQL, to lead and contribute to the development of data analysis, manipulation, and transformation processes.
  4. Streaming Technologies: Demonstrate your expertise in streaming technologies such as Kafka Streaming or Apache Flink to architect and implement solutions for processing and analyzing real-time data streams.
  5. Data Architecture Design: Lead the design and development of comprehensive data architectures that align with business objectives, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and reliability.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and business units to understand requirements, communicate technical solutions, and ensure the alignment of data architecture with organizationalgoals.
  7. Best Practices and Standards: Define and enforce best practices and standards for data architecture, ensuring the integrity, security, and quality of data assets.
  8. Data Governance: Implement and oversee data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure data integrity, compliance, and proper utilization.
