Job Description

Part Time, 24 hours per week, Up to £30,000 Pro RataWe are working with a gift and games company who are looking for an SAP B1 Super user to join their team!They are about to introduce SAP B1 to the business, moving all data from existing systems across, so you will be the SAP kingpin, the go-to person for the team looking for any support in this area.Reporting into the Sales Director, you will also head up the Sales Administration Team comprising of 2 direct reports, mentoring them and conducting 121s, etc. As this role develops, you will also take on a Sales Administration role to assist the team as needed, providing a first-class service to the business’ trade / wholesale accounts both in the UK and Globally, and fostering great relationships with other departments internally too.The successful candidate will be proactive and a fast learner, whilst being a great communicator who enjoys building positive working relationships. You will be an experienced SAP B1 user, have experience in or a desire to head up a small team, and have excellent computer skills.NB This is part time role of 24 hours a week, the full-time equivalent salary bracket is £28,000 - £30,000.Duties as SAP B1 Super user / Sales Team Supervisor will include:

  • Implementation, training and usage of the new SAP Business 1 ERP system
  • Training and supporting the wider team from a systems perspective
  • Always looking to develop new processes and improve efficiencies within the department
  • Develop, mentor and lead the Sales Admin team, conducting regular appraisals and 1-2-1s
  • A keen interest in Sales, Retail, and consumer products
  • Support the Sales Director across the customer care strategy
  • Working with both UK and International trade accounts, providing excellent customer service at all times
  • Along with the management team, look at stock holding, logistics and product flow, ensuring optimum supply for your customers, highlighting any areas of concern as necessary
  • Working closely with the wider team, including Operations, Finance and Marketing
  • Sales administration duties including keying sales orders, looking at stock levels, always keeping your customers up to date and providing the best level of service at all times
    • Experience and attributes required for this SAP B1 Super user / Sales Team Supervisor position:
  • Good working knowledge of SAP B1 essential, with the ability to support the team in this area
  • IT savvy and proficient with systems, particularly with Office 365 and strong excel skills
  • Desire to or experience in supervising / managing a small team, including undertaking appraisals
  • Excellent telephone manner and a first-class communicator, both verbal and written
  • Experience in or desire to learn a sales administration role in a wholesale environment
  • Someone with initiative and a natural problem solver
  • Approachable and positive manner, someone with patience and a desire to help’
  • Organised and efficient, with a good attention to detail. An excellent multi-tasker
  • Flexible, friendly, and a team player with a positive approach!
