Job Description

Salesforce DevOps Engineer London based Global consultancy are recruiting for a Salesforce.com Technical Leads who will be responsible for engineering and delivering world-class platforms, producing enterprise standard solutions and for leading delivery teams to build and deliver them successfully on Salesforce.com. Leveraging complimentary cloud and on premise technologies as appropriate; as part of this role, you will have to deliver advanced custom solutions on Salesforce.com heavily integrated with other systems.The right candidate will be highly knowledgeable in App Cloud, web application development, SSO, salesforce.com integration and platform extension. You will be able to fully utilise OOB features of Salesforce to minimise technical debt, designing solutions using Heroku, Lightning, Force.com API, APEX, Visualforce and other tools to extend the product as needed. Deep experience in integration of Salesforce with other enterprise systems is a must have.Functional ProficiencyUnderstanding of the DevOps strategy and release management process for Salesforce product.Understanding of the SDLC along with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.Understanding and Requirement gathering and fitment into salesforce platform for multiple projects across Banking, Health, Retail and life science industries.Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Evangelise Cloud and DevOps practices by openly and honestly showcasing capabilities, understanding the outcomes customers are seeking and forever searching for the simplest and elegant solutions.
  • The Devops Engineer will take development and operational responsibilities of number of Salesforce instances and enhance the capability and efficiencies.
  • Ensure that the software delivery pipeline is as efficient as possible. Build and operate software to help development, operations, and support teams.
  • Meaningful experience in establishing automated frameworks using modern CI/CD tools
  • Experience with Agile principles and executing Agile methods.
  • Strong background in salesforce products such as service, sales ,community cloud functionalities.
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Manager and Platform Architect to provide early input and validate technical feasibility of proposed solutions and improve upon process.
  • Comfortable multi-tasking and working as part of a global team, as well as working independently and taking ownership.
  • Experience with modern scripting languages. such as PowerShell, tooling API, Apex, Json etc
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate within short release cycles along with major releases planning.
  • Experience with Salesforce deployments and errors handing capabilities.
  • Should have experience with 4 or more DevOps tools(Gitlab, DEVOps Azure bitbucket,Copado, GitHub along with custom pipelines like Jenkins files , YML files)
  • Should have experience in Salesforce SFDX such’s scratch orgs, Visual source code(VS) enablement.
  • Experience in Unlocked package deployments via SFDX .
  • Branch Management- Refresh, Sync, post refresh activities, implementation of Post Refresh Steps
  • Responsibility for identifying opportunities to automate non-value added and recurring activities and identifying long-term options such as self-service.
  • Experience in SonarQube and CodeScan- tools.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis for merge conflicts and deployment issues independently.
  • Strong technical knowledge across cloud, infrastructure, and applications domains and Devops tooling, current and emerging technologies for ITSM, tooling, alerting and automation.
  • Experience in Data and meta data backup strategy - As part of recovery process.
  • Experience in release management activities - Engaging BVT( Business validation ) ,dealing with customers during release window and experience with managing third-party vendors.
  • Experience when working in multi-vendor working platform.
  • Should have experience dealing with salesforce quarterly releases and its impact analysis.
