This is done by putting each home through a specially designed test: a gruelling hospitality exam, which uses a mix of algorithms and physical visits by hospitality experts.Having launched three years ago in London, they e are now in 12 cities across 9 countries and have vetted over 100,000 homes.The business is backed by an all-star cast investor group including Local Globe (TransferWise, Citymapper), Alex Chesterman (Founder of Zoopla), William Reeve (Founder of Love Film), Alex Saint and Troy Collins (Founders of Secret Escapes), Jason Goodman (Founder of Albion) and many more.Job DescriptionA key USP in the business is that they have a Team of MatchMakers who know their destinations and their homes. Their Guests can pick up the phone and talk to them so that they find the perfect match.You will lead, grow and coach the Paris focused Team - developing skills, creating processes and inspiring greatness. You will show them how it is done by working with guests yourself while working alongside other Sales Team Managers to develop new processes. You will work closely with the host-facing Paris team, to ensure that the business is optimising their offering.What does success look like The Paris Sales Team Manager will have hit the ball out of the park if after 12 months you have:

  • Increased the booking and stay NPS scores
  • Increased Paris sales and conversion
  • Built and coached an extraordinary Team
  • Implemented clear processes to ensure a productive workflow and increased conversion
    • What you’ll be up toThis is a highly entrepreneurial role that will quickly evolve and morph as the business develops. However, to bring it to life, here is what you can expect to be doing:
  • Working with guests and hosts to arrange brilliant stays
  • Coaching, supporting, building and leading your London-based team of 6
  • Thinking and planning strategically and creatively to move the needle quickly while building for the future
  • Creating clear operating procedures which allow the Team to maximize their output through improved efficiencies
  • Working across Teams - working closely with their Marketplace Team who handle the relationships with their Hosts and focus on growing their inventory and with the Business Development Team who focus on generating new business
  • Being an advocate for the business
    • Who are they looking forYou don’t need to have prior experience in hospitality. The important thing is that you are:

  • Fluent in French and ideally have a good knowledge of Paris
