Job Description

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide an office-based, inbound point of contact for the sales team and their clients/prospects
  • General sales administration for the sales team
  • Provide marketing material and data as appropriate to all client/prospects
  • Handle all back office related queries.
  • Update and manage internal management information systems such as Salesforce, Fishtank, Financial Express.
  • Help to coordinate ongoing events and webinars
  • Help with the preparation of presentations and general marketing material
  • Work with Client Reporting to ensure timely monthly and quarterly reporting on our funds
  • Help build and maintain internal relationships.
  • Be aware of industry trends and how the firm’s funds fit within this.
  • Adhere to the FCA’s Conduct Rules, understanding that they set basic standards of good personal conduct.
Key Requirements:
  • Ideally, but not required, IMC qualified/ equivalent. But would like to see evidence of working towards this.
  • Ideally some investment and distribution market knowledge.
  • Likely to have at least two years industry experience, ideally in a sales support environment.
Ideal Skills and Knowledge:
  • A friendly individual who is a collaborative team player and offers a flexible and mature approach
  • Possess a good understanding of the UK Wholesale marketplace. Ideally familiar with the types of clients the role will focus on, National DFMs, IFA Wealth Managers, Family Offices etc
  • Results focused, possessing strong communication and organisation skills and able to evidence this.
  • Likely to have at least two years’ relevant experience in order to demonstrate the required skills and knowledge.
  • Understanding of investors, their needs and market trends and how they would interact in the development of value-added the firm’s products.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player, with the ability to use own initiative and to influence and persuade both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage workloads and self-organised.
  • Good level of regulatory and technical investment knowledge to be able to interact with prospective clients most effectively.
  • Ideally have experience of Salesforce/Fish tank/Financial Express.
