Job Description

Business Development

  • Support sales colleagues in business development activities
  • Consistently identify new and relevant prospects for the strategies either through prior knowledge or proactive research
  • Collaborate with teammates on any Legal Agreements, RFPs or DDQs
  • Liaise with 3rd Party distributors in order to grow the funds client base in Europe
  • At all times maintain a good understanding of the performance and positioning of the strategies in order to effectively communicate this to prospective investors
  • Complete applications for consultant mandatesthis can be via an online portal or email correspondence with consultants.
  • Upload Fund and Company information to databases such as Mercer GIMD, bFinance, Albourne, Alphaport, HFM Barclayhedge etc.
  • Upload PAM Funds onto relevant platforms to improve client access to the FundsFor example Transact, Praemium, Nucleus etc.
Client Relations
  • Service any ad hoc requests from clients either by email or telephoneProvide clients with regular and ad/hoc reporting through CRM database
  • Timely Monthly/Quarterly sign off on any promotional material that is provided to investors Through the CRM, maintain a directory of activities relating to client services (email, telephone, face to face meetings, calls, due diligence)
Marketing & PR
  • Client / Prospective Investor Events
  • Contributing to advertising and marketing initiatives
Qualifications
  • CFA UK Level 4 Certificate in Investment Management
Competencies
  • Broad understanding of open ended investment funds
  • Prior knowledge of industry dynamics in fund managementKnowledge of regulatory restrictions that are incumbent on the target market (FCA COBS, UCITs, RDR, MIFID II etc.)Ability to liaise effectively with clients and other organisations
  • Organised, deadline-efficient with attention to detail
  • Proactive, able to use initiative and problem solve
  • Ability to thrive in pressured environments with good judgement and decision-making skillsTeam player
Experience Required
  • Minimum 3 years working in investment funds and/or asset management
  • Knowledge of Microsoft 10, specifically Excel and PowerPoint. Also Microsoft Dynamics (CRM database)
