Job Description

THE GIG You will head up the EMEA B2B channel with the remit of building, driving, and delivering the commercial plan. You will lead and inspire an experienced Sales and Sales Operations teamsthrough a clearly articulated vision, that puts brand equity and sustainable growth at the centre. As a member of the Regional Leadership Team, you will contribute to the regional strategy as well as being a role-model for all teams in EMEA. THE STUFF THAT SETS YOU APART

  • Accountability for the performance of the EMEA B2B channel and engagement of the B2B team (circa 55 people)
  • A member of the Regional Leadership Team, contributing to wider business/brand initiatives from long range planning to team culture
  • Alongside your team, you will continue to evolve the Dr. Martens wholesale business, striving to achieve best in class, sustainable sales growth, and marketplace management.
  • Develop, mentor and coach direct reports, build a strong team culture and be an advocate of DE&I.
  • Responsible for the B2B channel budget, long range planning and P&L
  • Continuously assess current and potential distribution points alongside any relevant commercial opportunities within the region.
  • Play an active role in the development of Strategic Accounts across the region.
  • Assess and evaluate entry into new markets within EMEA
  • Provide regular feedback on regional product needs for the ongoing development of the marketplace.
  • Collaborate and partner with peers & teams across Supply Chain, HR, Legal, Finance & Technology to ensure B2B is operating at the optimum level.
  • Partner with the Product, Marketing & Strategy functions to maximise the potential of the Dr. Martens brand within wholesale.
  • Ability to travel throughout the EMEA region.
YOUR FUNDAMENTAL QUALITIES
  • You’re a natural and experienced leader who can work in collaboration with your team and peers to build and deliver a regional sales plan
  • Proven track record in a similar level role (although footwear sector experience not essential)
  • You can articulate your vision and have the ability to give clear direction to the team, ensuring everyone understands their individual roles and responsibilities.
  • You are comfortable working in a matrix organisation, demonstrating strong collaboration and influencing skills.
  • You have broad experience in developing and engaging large teams.
  • You are excited about a new challenge, where you can have a direct impact on the next phase of the Dr. Martens brand and business.
