Are you motivated by sales and want to help drive significant growth for Amazon Pay UK If the answer is yes, come join our team as a Sales Development Representative.We are seeking a candidate who wants to pursue a career in sales to grow Amazon Pay UK penetration in the mid-market and large enterprise market segments. This is a varied and diverse role where you will generate opportunities for the UK, by qualifying newmerchants and engaging with eCommerce Leaders and C-Levels to support the Sales team and expand our merchant base. You will also collaborate with marketing on lead generation activities and take ownership of initiatives to support opportunity creation andpipeline movement. This role will involve facilitating sales deals and relationships with strategic merchants across the UK. The right candidate has experience working against sales targets and brings successful experience in business development, a keen interest in e-commerceand online payments, and ability to shape this role. This role is based in London.Key job responsibilities• Identify new merchants that Amazon Pay can work with• Identify and engage with the right stakeholders through emails, calls, etc.• Comfortably execute sales activities with high standards and consistency• Develop a deep understanding of the current functionality and value proposition of Amazon Pay to find and execute new opportunities• Operate in a fast-moving environment and take full responsibility of your performance goals• Be accountable for auditing and reporting on key inputs and outputs in Salesforce and other internal reporting systems• Prepare business analysis for senior management teams, regarding progress and roadblocks to closing new customers• Be proactive in exploring new ideas and initiatives that deliver value to the team• Prepare quarterly deep-dives on Top 500 e-commerce merchants and implement ongoing Account Plans for key merchantsWe are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:London, GBRBASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Experience in taking initiative navigating and prospecting large and mid-market accounts targeting senior level ecommerce executives - Couple of years of experience in an outbound sales or prospecting role in B2B environments in a solution-sales/technology related environment - Experience and understanding of various prospecting techniques- Experience working with Salesforce.com - Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Background or interest in payments/Fintech or Consumer Finance businesses and/or relevant experience in B2B2C businesses. - Ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and create a sense of urgency in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- Demonstrate interest in developing a technology sales careerAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
