Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a RWE Data Scientist to join a top global pharma. Your new companyOur client is a top ten global pharmaceutical company with an excellent corporate reputation and track record of continued investment in research and technology. You will be working on RWE projects that have a lasting impact on the companys portfolio across multiple therapeutic areas.Your new roleWe are working with a top ten pharma to grow their real-world data and outcomes team, by adding an experienced Data Scientist with a background in epidemiology to work on a variety of global projects. You will be supporting Real World studies, working closely with stakeholders across multiple countries to analyse data and contribute to/write SAPs for research projects. As part of an innovative team you will be working with some of the leaders in the field of RWE & epidemiological data analysis and have a fantastic opportunity to make a significant impact.What youll need to succeed

  • Experience specifically using R and/or python to conduct RWD/RWE studies.
  • Experience with reproducible research resources, e.g. github or Docker Previous work with flatiron data resources would be beneficial, as would exposure to data sources such as CPRD or THIN.
  • Strong skills in either R or Python.
  • Explaining complex results to (global) stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of epidemiology is important, with previous experience of survival analysis/descriptive statistics an advantage.
  • MSc (or equivalent experience) within a quantitative discipline, such as epidemiology, statistics, bioinformatics, computer science, or life sciences subject with a strong statistical element, with higher degrees (e.g. a PhD) preferred.
