Job Description

Russian Speaking Customer/Client On-Boarder, Investment Banking£36,000 per year (£17.40ph)Canary WharfThis role is an initial 6 month rolling contract that would be likely to extend and lead to permanent opportunities with the Client. They are looking for an individual who is comfortable customer and client facing, to assist with the onboarding with high net worth individuals to their private banking sector.Key Responsibilities

  • Establishing strong relationship with Relationship Managers and Client Service Managers as a team to ensure an efficient and streamlined account opening, onboarding and servicing journey for customers.
  • Proactive client calls, reviewing and maintaining client relationship
  • Ensure detailed and accurate application pack preparation, submission and follow-up on enquiries from different backend control and support teams, to eventually successfully open the account timely.
  • Update progress and well expectation management across parties including the banks internal business stakeholders
  • Taking responsibility to build relationships with key clients and influencers, instilling a sense of teamwork and pro-activity, and work closely with covered regions / countries to increase the client database through sourcing new client referrals.
    • Required knowledge/skills
  • An ability to manage a large portfolio by acquiring and serving clients in their day-to-day banking needs in a regulated environment and sourcing new business through their own initiative.
  • Knowledge of basic financial products and services, financial markets and economic environments
  • Good knowledge of respective operational and regulatory environment as well as cultural understanding of the local Hong Kong/ Asia market
  • Experience in a wealth management sales or sales service background within a financial services company ideal
