A leading film production and distribution company is looking for a Senior Royalties Coordinator to report straight to the Head of Finance and be an integral of the finance team with overall responsibility for accurate and timely accounting and reportingof royalties and month end.This is an excellent opportunity to join Europes leader in production and distribution and build on your skills and experience in an equal opportunity employer who celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment. This is a brand-newrole and which you will be able to make your own!You will have a passion for the film industry and regular interaction with content and be very confidant with dealing with people at all levels.Key Responsibilities* Interpret and implement film distribution agreements* Independently prepare all third party and intercompany royalty statements* Management of royalty system, including regular audit of contract terms to ensure accuracy* Improve and maintain tracker to ensure all royalty statements are issued when due* Key liaison for all stakeholders both internal (department heads, group head office) and external (sales agents, producers)* Review incoming royalty statements for accuracy* Prepare month end royalty accruals and support quarterly variance analysis* Perform month end balance sheet reconciliations* Support quarterly forecasting of royalties, both P&L and cash* Assist with wider month end closing process* Maintenance of the group royalties tool ensuring data is kept up to date.* Ad-hoc projects/reporting - including projects related to the continuing growth and development of the business and supporting the wider finance team as required* Contribute towards one of the D&I Groups within the company to ensure inclusion across the business and contribute to the companys ethos and valuesAbout you* Experience with preparation of royalty statements and/or experience of interpreting legal contracts is a MUST* Intermediate Excel or higher (pivot tables, nested functions)* Excellent attention to detail* Excellent verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively interact with non-finance personnel* Experience using SAP would be an advantage* Passion for the film industry and regular interaction with contentDue to a high volume of applications only successful candidates will be contacted
