Job Description

On behalf of this organisation, AMS are looking for a Risk User Support Analyst for a 6 months contract based in London (Hybrid, 3 days per week in the Office).Purpose of the Role:As Risk User Support Analyst you will play a pivotal role in our dynamic team, collaborating closely with Traders to ensure accurate risk support and adherence to SLAs. You will work on UNIX and Windows operating systems to effectively support our Risk Userteam.Responsibilities of the role:As a Risk User Support Analyst you will be responsible for:

  • Provide first class support to all users of the system in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Liaise with the developers to communicate issue raised by the business.
  • Improve and maintain a knowledge base regarding support issues and their resolution.
  • Build a working knowledge of the systems and business area in order to provide a high level of support.
  • Work with the rest of the global team to ensure they are all able to adequately provide a high level of system support.
  • Reconfiguring various existing setups in order to improve the efficiency of the system and to cohere to business requests.
  • Track issues effectively using ITIL approved methodology (incidents, changes, requests and problems).
What we require from the candidate:
  • Experience working with Linux/UNIX and Windows systems.
  • Understanding of Python coding.
  • Experience in ServiceNow (ITIL).
  • Experience in the financial industry and understanding of market terminology.
  • Experience in Risk and supporting Users and Traders.
