My client is a well established property development business who specialise in hotel, high-rise, student accommodation and residential projects on off-market developments. They are looking for an experienced construction architect with proficient Revitand planning skills to join the team. This opportunity will allow hybrid working allowing three days a week remote working with London visitsThey have a wealth of experience within the business from site finding through the planning and legal process as well as project development, disposal or long term management of completed schemes.They are looking for an experienced Project Architect with good technical detailing on all RIBA stages and UK building regulations experience. Ideally you would have worked on high-rise, student accommodation projects - specifically managing stages 1 and2, construction drawings, communication to teams throughout the planning stages - you will be familiar with communicating to planners and enjoys this aspect with at least 4 years of UK experience with project management capabilities.Responsibilities;Understand the design aspects of a construction project influence and relate to performance and functional issuesProficient Revit and technical drawing skillsEvaluate and advise on environmental, legal and regulatory issuesAssess what surveys are required before work can commence and ensure such surveys are undertaken and results fed into the projectLead the detailed design process and coordinate design informationAdvise clients on procuring the best and most appropriate contracts for the work they are undertaking Liaise with appropriate authorities (local planning authority and building inspectors) when producing documentation for statutory approvalProduce, analyse and advise on detailed specifications for suitable materials or processes to be used Carry out design-stage risk assessmentsAssist in the administering contracts and project certificationsObtain feedback from clients and people using the design, and report on the performance of the contractors and consultantsAppraise the performance of designs which are in use and produce maintenance management information Ability to follow client brand manuals to ensure compliance to design briefQualifications Required·RIBA statusAttributes we require:·Leadership skills and a willingness to take on responsibility·Good communication skills, as interaction with other professionals·The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team·A logical and practical approach as well as an ability to solve problems·Time management and ability to prioritise workloadsRequired skills
