Team Profile:Located within the Marketing Department, the Business Development Services (BDS) team is the primary provider of content for MSIMs new business effort in an environment focused on the growth of the business. The BDS team is responsible for driving the sales efforts in the initial and crucial stage of new business acquisitions and to ultimately help realise the firms revenue targets, through completion of RFPs/RFIs. It is also responsible for responding to existing clients due diligence questionnaires.Primary Responsibilities:The person filling the role will take responsibility for the entire process of answering RFPs and RFIs for a number of products. The role would suit an individual who aspires to be a career RFP writer with direct experience in the institutional investment management industry. As a member of the BDS team, the individual will support new business acquisition efforts within MSIMs Global Sales. This individual will be responsible for completing RFPs/RFIs, collaborating with investment teams, sales and various stakeholder units throughout the business. The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the asset management industry. Experience with RFP writing and knowledge of fixed income and equity investments is a prerequisite.
