Job Description

Main PurposeThe main purpose of the role is responsibility for the posting, review and reporting of the Group’s net revenue. This involves the oversight and analytical review of monthly net revenue bookings, billing processes, rebate and commissions payments and cashmatching.Responsibilities

  • Review and post into the general ledger
  • Ensure net revenues are recorded correctly in the general ledger
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations as part of month end reporting process
  • Analyse drivers behind net revenue change
  • Preparation and distribution of billing schedules and invoices
  • Analyse and review aged debts to ensure prompt collection of cash from clients/counterparties
  • Match cash to payment schedules and invoices
  • Comply with CASS regulatory requirements
  • Review, analysis and approval of rebates and commission payments
  • Monitoring returned payments, working closing with Accounts Payable and Client Agreements team
  • Preparation of fund reinvestment instructions
  • Providing oversight to the third-party administrator and ensure funding is in place
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong academics and mathematical/analytical skills
  • Experience working in a Finance team preferred
  • Investment Management / Investment Banking background an advantage but not essential
  • Must be computer literate with strong excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, sumif etc.) and have the ability to learn new systems
  • Ambitious and driven, with a strong attention to detail
This role will give exposure to a range of sub teams within Finance, Operations and Middle Office as well as the opportunity to be involved in various Finance change projects and scope to take on more responsibility /progress within the team
