Job Title: Revalidation AdministratorReports to: Revalidation Director and Managing DirectorBased at: Home, with occasional travel to London for meetingsHours: 40 hours per weekSalary: £30,000Pension: Non-contributory 9% employer pension schemeAnnual Leave: 20 days per year, rising by 1 extra day after 2 years of service to a maximum of 5 extra days plus 8 UK Bank HolidaysAn exciting opportunity has become available for a well organised and meticulous administrator to work on a full-time basis within the Revalidation Team of the Independent Doctors Federation, a Medical Members Organisation.We are looking for someone with proven administrative skills who is prepared to work hard to deliver excellent service to IDF members who use our appraisal and revalidation services.Exceptional attention to detail is required in this role as are excellent written and spoken communication skills; the successful candidate must be comfortable dealing with senior doctors, their support staff and the rest of the IDF team in a professional and courteous manner. The role also requires problem solving skills, multi-tasking and an ability to re-prioritise tasks on an ongoing basis.A detailed knowledge of appraisal and revalidation would be beneficial, but is not necessary, as full training will be given. Similarly, experience in a medical environment and/or a regulatory environment would be valuable but is not essential.A strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of products is essential for this role. Experience of using a large and complex database, a website content management system and customer relationship management software is desirable.The role is home-based and requires some travel into London for meetings and events. Applicants should live within a 1 hour commuting distance of the IDF office and should have a high-speed broadband connection and a quiet space in which to work undisturbed.This role would suit an extremely organised, detail oriented, outgoing, enthusiastic and professional candidate who is looking for career growth.
