*Reserving Manager*A market-leading motor insurance specialist is hiring a reserving manager to support the Head of Reserving across many functions of actuarial reserving, including the evaluation of Solvency II provisions and Best Estimate reserves.The company is spearheading the market in its use of the latest technologies and implementing them in a forward-thinking environment. With employee wellbeing as one of their core principles, the employer provides a range of options available in regards toflexible working.Responsibilities: Reviews of reserves every quarter Monitoring claim performance on a monthly basis Contribute to Solvency II technical provision calculations and regulatory returns Analyse reserve risk with the view to quantify and communicate the range of uncertainty relative to the actuarial best estimates and support internal capital modelling.Skills & Experience: Proven core reserving experience involving the practical application of actuarial methods. Familiarity with statistical techniques used in reserving, ideally within motor and/or home insurance. Considerable knowledge of the regulatory environment, including specific responsibilities of the actuarial function within the Solvency II framework.
