We are currently looking for a Research Associate to join a leading Gene Therapy company based in the London area. As the Research Associate you will working within the Biology team in close collaboration with other groups and will help to advance novel gene therapies.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Research Associate will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will develop novel cell-based assays to identify new targets and validate candidate gene therapies2. As the Research Associate you will network internally and externally to further collaborative projects, including with CROs and external academic laboratories.3. You will also be expected to present data to colleagues in lab meetings and external meetings as required. 4. The Research Associate will also assist in the preparation of material for presentation and manuscripts for publication.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Research Associate we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. An MSc or PhD in Immunology, Cell Biology or other relevant discipline.2. Proven experience in cell culture techniques and handling of mammalian cell lines. Stem Cell (iPSC) experience would be ideal.3.
