Job Description

Enjoy making an impactThe Regeneration team, sitting within the Development directorate, is responsible for the delivery of three high profile regeneration projects (Grahame Park, Barnet, Woodberry Down, Hackney and the Aylesbury Estate, Southwark) that will deliver over 10,000 new homes and wider placemaking over the next fifteen years under a variety of partnership and development agreements.Following our recent successful planning application for over 2000 new homes to deliver the next stage of our regeneration scheme at Grahame Park Barnet, an opportunity has arisen for a Research & Data Analyst to join our Social and Economic Team.NHG is committed to delivering dynamic social impact and neighbourhood change on both Grahame Park and Woodberry Down and our Social Impact Frameworks are integrated within our programmes, and agreed with the local authorities, local residents, delivery partners and key stakeholders on both projects.The Grahame Park and Woodberry Down Social & Economic team is responsible for the delivery of comprehensive wellbeing programmes on these large and complex long-term regeneration schemes. This includes commissioning projects from community development trusts and other community groups; partnership development to maximise our reach; capacity building with the local community; meeting planning obligations to deliver training and employment outputs, and project management of sociol economic wellbeing programmes. Just as important to the work we do is researching best practice; measuring social return on investment; monitoring impact; benchmarking of data to enable us to plan, and manage and deliver effective social and economic outcomes over time. We are about to launch a new dynamic meanwhile space on Grahame Park which will have a enterprise, employment and skills suite, and community hub that will offer a diverse range of programmes that will aide recovery post Covid that support residents and the local community.Youll lead on research, monitoring and evaluation of socio-economic programmes and overseeing our contractual and planning commitments. The work will involve monitoring and evaluation of existing programmes; researching innovative approaches and benchmarking best practice; identifying gaps in local provision; carrying out impact assessments; monitoring our commissioned and externally funded projects and delivery of a grants programme.Youll work collaboratively with the Development and New Business directorate and with colleagues across the business, as well as with our partners LB Barnet and LB Hackney/Berkeley Homes, Community Development Trusts and other community partners to ensure we deliver a needs led service to residents, maximise social value, develop placemaking and deliver timely and accurate communications on the impact our programmes are making.Working on high profile and challenging regeneration programmes, you will need to have a research qualification (MRS or equivalent), be analytical, confident, professional, and adept at partnership working with the skills, resilience, and ethos to drive continuous improvement.
