Job Description

Our international Law Firm client is seeking to hire a Reporting Manager to join their London Office. This role will be joining a newly created Business Improvement Team within the firm. The Law Firm are looking for an experienced Reporting Manager to jointheir existing team and assist with a range of tasks related to gathering and interpreting data for the firm. The particular role will be paying up to £100,000 with some potential for flex and also boats generous hybrid working of 2 days in the office and3 from home, as well as a range of great benefits.The Reporting Developer will work closely with the Head of Business Improvement, Senior Commercial Business Analyst, PMO team, Legal Services Teams, Business Services Teams. The role will report directly to the Head of Business Improvement. Duties for thisrole will include but are not limited to:

  • Advising on the future roadmap to help the firm create analytics and reporting capabilities to facilitate the conversion of data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
  • Leading the design and development of data models using T-SQL, Stored Procedures and functions.
  • Leading and supervising the design and development of reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, Excel and other reporting technologies in use at the firm.
  • Work collaboratively with our IT leadership team to help us govern our data assets, ensure robust integrity of data, contribute to the improvement of data collection processes and minimise duplication.
  • Collaborating with business analysts and internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements and implement processes to support the design and execution of reporting solutions.
  • Provide advice and analysis to senior colleagues (both lawyer and business services) with respect to the firms reporting capability.
The team are seeking candidates who are confident leaders but who are strong team players, with good people management skills who are not afraid to still be hands on. Experience of building front end BI solutions/dashboards using reporting and visualisationtools such as Power BI (DAX), SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), and Excel (including Power BI), who ideally have experience with Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services 2016 & 2019), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), and SSAS (SQL Server AnalysisServices). Candidates MUST also be professionally certified (Microsoft stack). The standard hours of this role are 9:30am - 5:30pm with a flexible attitude.
