Job Description

Our international Law Firm client is seeking to hire a Reporting Developer to join their London Office. This role will be joining a newly created Business Improvement Team within the firm. The Law Firm are looking for an experienced Reporting Developer tojoin their existing team and assist with a range of tasks related to gathering and interpreting data for the firm. The particular role will be paying up to £65,000 with some potential for upward flex and also boats generous hybrid working of 2 days in theoffice and 3 from home, as well as a range of great benefits.The Reporting Developer will work closely with the Head of Business Improvement, Senior Commercial Business Analyst, PMO team, Legal Services Teams, Business Services Teams. The role will report directly to the Reporting & Analytics Manager. Duties for thisrole will include but are not limited to:

  • Developing analytics and reporting capabilities to facilitate the conversion of data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.
  • Design and develop data models using T-SQL, Stored Procedures and functions.
  • Design and develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, Excel and other reporting technologies
  • Collaborating with business analysts and internal stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Leveraging best practice methodology to support the consolidation of data sources and streamlining the firms reporting architecture.
  • Support the teams efforts in making improvements to data quality, accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability.
  • Provide advice and analysis to senior colleagues (both lawyer and business services) with respect to the firms reporting capability.
The team are seeking candaites with strong analytical and data warehouse skills who ideally have experince with Microsoft SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services 2016 & 2019), SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), and SSAS (SQL Server Analysis Services). Ideallycandiates will alos be professionally certified (Microsoft stack). The standard hours of this role are 9:30am - 5:30pm.
