Job Description

An Exciting Contract to Hire Opportunity for Integration Derivatives SME role with one of the Leading Financial Services clients in London, UK (Hybrid)Responsibilities:Client Facing

  • Partner with the Integration Business Analyst SME (Subject Matter Expert) and Project Manager during the pre-sales and requirements gathering phase to understand the client problem statement, current operating model for reporting and the best way to Integrateand utilize available Report Hub Functionality.
  • Partner with BA (Business Analyst), Client, SME (where required) and CS (Consulting Services) SME to ensure version control, completeness, and accuracy of mapping master sheet.
  • Review the client’s data model and work with the client to propose and agree the mappings.
  • Partner with the BA/ SME to ensure all mappings are successfully created within RH.
  • Represent Integration on all required client meetings including Project check-ins and Governance calls.
  • Map all typologies and create business process diagrams (Visio/other) for every action type lifecycle event of every typology.
  • Consolidate all information into a requirements document to capture the end-to-end flows and any requirements captured as part of the business process mapping.
  • Provide derivative and regulatory SME guidance (NOT regulatory interpretations) to the client as it pertains to RH onboarding.
  • Collaborate directly with the client to guide them through the RH data dictionaries.
  • Work with the PM and BA to review the RH business rules with the client enabling the client to decide which rules to configure.
Internal
  • Provide derivative and regulatory SME guidance to both the PM and BA to ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Escalate defects to appropriate teams.
  • Consult with Integration PM and BA (Business Analyst) team on complex issues relating to client set-up / config and mapping completed during onboarding to trouble shoot issues.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
Additional Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree preferred with master’s or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of related experience in the Financial Services industry
  • Must have extensive client facing project experience with proven ability to effectively manage expectations, concerns and escalate appropriately.
  • Must have an excellent Understanding of the end-to-end Institutional post trade Derivatives lifecycle.
  • Working knowledge of EMIR/SFTR/CFTC/MAS/ASIC/MiFID trade reporting regulation required
  • Working knowledge of agile methodology an advantage
  • Must have experience with similar business/applications (e.g., Power BI, Sales Force, MSPP)
  • Experience with similar business/application messaging systems and protocols (e.g., CSV, SQL, MQ, Sftp, MS azure, XLST) an advantage
  • Understanding of Vendor platform source system data format highly desirable
