Job Description

.I have an exciting opportunity for any Payment Operations professionals who are looking to take a step up. We are working with a globally renowned Investment bank based in Canary wharf.This role is at a AVP level and titled Remittances Supervisor, this is primarily focused on people whit a strong payments and FS Operations background.You will be working with oversight of the payments processing through multiple channels and also working with Front offices, Ops support and Treasury departments covering not only London market but EMEA wide.

  • To complete payment related processing tasks including Standing Order and Direct Debit initiation.
  • To manually check all cross currency exchange rates requests to Treasury Department prior to sending in order to facilitate payment processing
  • Manage the payments reconciliation
  • Providing an approval check on all manually posted profile accounting entries
  • To manage the team assigned the processing of payments in SWIFT that do not follow the STP work flow on behalf of the London & EMEA offices. Ensuring all payments are completed in line with SLAs
  • Ensure payment processing is in line with industry PSD2 regulations and Dubai VAT requirements
  • Provide the correct level of support and guidance to all team members in order for them to be able to perform the roles they are assigned in a productive manner
  • Main Relationships will be with internal stakeholders throughout the London & EMEA regions
  • Flexible and versatile attitude is essential due to the range of tasks and deadlines undertaken
  • Suggest and implement process improvements with a view to increasing operational efficiency
  • Analyse payment repair trends and actively propose enhancements for increase in STP
  • Excellent understanding of SWIFT payment formatting
  • Accuracy - attention to detail when releasing large payment volumes within tight deadlines
