Description:TEKsystems are currently engaged with a global tier 1 banking client to source a Release Engineer with good communicational skills to join the electronic trading area to be responsible for releasing changes to the production platform. The role would sitwithin the DevOps team and responsible for planning, scheduling and executing the releases to the trading applications they manage.The ideal candidate would have hands-on experience in the release processes of large scale software applications and bring a high level of customer service in their approach. These skills to complement high level of technical understanding.Role Responsibilities Plan, schedule and execute the release management lifecycle to trading applications Fulfil change requests in collaboration with application owners and the DevOps team Maintain and communicate release plans to stakeholders Support the application testing as part of the release process Coordinate and run emergency and regulatory required periodic testing of systems and procedures Participate in release related incident follow-ups and alert reviewsEssential Experience Ability to triage and prioritise incoming requests Good communication skillsability to clearly communicate timelines and status updates Proven experience of releasing software changes into a sensitive production environment Experience in configuration managementSkills:
