Job Description

Reinsurance AccountantOperating across both the Lloyds and Company markets this insurer are looking to develop their finance function as they continue to grow. They have created a new role to develop their Reinsurance reporting capabilitiesThis key role will be responsible for

  • Reporting of all Reinsurance accounting activities and development of the function
  • Reconciliation and posting of ceded premiums and incurred claims
  • Working closely with underwriting and claims teams to review reinsurance transactions
  • Develop financial MI and commentary for senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate with the financial reporting teams and supporting the FP&A function re current RI data for the planning and forecasting process
  • Settlement of reinsurance treaty accounts/bordereaux with reinsurers and brokers
