Job Description

An opportunity to join the components team of a large products stewardship department; your role will be to carry out HSE assessments of all additives, components and final products. You will collate the data into bespoke reports to be used for compliance and gaining competitive advantage. You will get to work with a truly diverse range of chemical substances and mixtures, be able to develop hazard classification expertise and support a global product range.Your role is to deliver fit for purpose’ regulatory data and information; you will work closely with a range of internal stakeholders to advise on HSE issues arising from component assessments through to legislative changes. You will advise colleagues on hazardous chemical classification changes, coordinate specific projects including classification of components and complex final products, R&D SDS authoring and composing customer declarations.It is likely you will have a degree level qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Science, experience of product development, product/component HSE assessments, hazard classifications and / or SDS Authoring. You must have attention to detail, patience, you must be delivery and customer focused, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong team working and interpersonal skills and be able to learn/adapt quickly.
