Its an agile, professional environment that will support your development as it demands excellence, encourages curiosity and rewards originalthinking.Role description:The Operations Performance Management team is looking for a Change Manager who will be responsible for managing a portfolio of business re-engineering and process improvement initiatives within the Global Operations Division. She/he will be required to workin a matrix environment, working with various Operations functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of management in various global locations. Many initiatives will require working with cross functional teams to deliver the program objectives.The initial assignment will be to manage the Trade and Transaction Reporting (TTR) Remediation Program in the Regulatory Operations functional area. Regulatory Operations is a global team that is responsible for managing Nomuras trade and transaction reportingobligations across various jurisdictions including CFTC, SEC, CAD, MiFID, EMIR (ESMA & FCA), SFTR, BOI, ASIC, MAS, HKMA, KRX and JFSA. The objective of this program is to transform the function through delivery of the identified book of work (BoW) which isorganized into multiple work streams, each focussing on a thematic area impacting the function.Key responsibilities include:* Implement governance structure including working groups, roles and responsibilities, meeting frequencies, and status reporting with anticipated risks and issues.* Lead meeting forums, including advance topic planning, scheduling, facilitating, and associated documentation. * Help program sponsor run the Steering Committee (TTR Governance Forum) including scheduling, finalizing the meeting agenda, preparing meeting materials and circulating minutes and follow up actions. * Document well-defined delivery plan with input from BAs, business stakeholders and IT, and ensure that it is realistic and achievable by identifying and correcting weaknesses and gaps.* Develop plan monitoring procedures ensuring tasks, activities, and milestones are vetted with owners weekly to identify slippage, conflicts, scope creep, and inter-dependency problems early enough to mitigate and resolve timely* Ensure risks and issues are documented and those requiring escalation are accompanied by options and recommendations with pros and cons for effective decision makingAbility to decipher, analyse and model financial data which can be used as a basis to delivermanagement reporting to senior audiences, ensuring key messages are understood and can be acted uponThe role will expect the candidate to seek out and implement new processes as the regulatory landscape continues to change.
