Job Description

Regional Estates Building Manager for a charitable business.Client Detailsnon-profit entity dedicated to making a constructive impact in numerous areas of society.Its objective circles around focusing key issues and improving the well-being of people and communities.DescriptionLead project teams and ensure effective monitoring of external teams performance using KPIs to deliver projects in line with targets and timelines. Produce concise reporting on a monthly basis to confirm programmes on schedule. Manage and deliver programmeon time and budget Manage external consultants using KPIs to deliver operational initiatives and solutions meeting financial plan objectives. Exercise commercial judgement to resolve day-to-day property management issues within delegated authority levels.Develop relationships with other Property Departments (Format/Construction etc.) to enable high performance and support customer initiatives. Drive successful relationships with Regional Operational Managers to become a primary point of contact in Property.Profile

  • Qualified or in final stages of RICS/CIOB membership or other approved building profession.
  • Experience undertaking building condition surveys.
  • Statutory compliance and maintenance management.
  • Able to understand requirements from a service user perspective.
  • Procurement of services across a range of property areas, including H&S.
  • Managing budgets.
  • Understanding of lease and licences.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills, ability to discuss matters with site managers.
  • Work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to prioritise initiatives and risk-assess.
  • Positive team player who can provide constructive input and demonstrate successful output.
  • Strong attention to detail, focused and able to anticipate issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and other general software applications.
