Job Description

I am currently recruiting for a fantastic business based in the heart of Central London. They are keen to meet with experienced Receptionists who are passionate about their career and are ready for a new challenge. This role would suit someone who takesgreat pride in running a highly organised and efficient reception area and enjoys variety in a role as you will be involved in many exciting projects including event planning!Role responsibilities:

  • The first point of contact in person and for incoming calls, you will be responsible for ensuring an efficient, effective and professional service to all clients
  • A sense of ownership of your workplace by making sure the reception area is always immaculately well-presented, covered and considered. Leaving no guest or request unanswered.
  • Collaboration with colleagues on adhoc requests and projects and offering your excellent organisation tools as a helping hand, in various scenarios
  • Become considered a hub of general and Company knowledge to your clients, whether it be New Joiner process to fire drills to employee job titles
  • Admin tasks such as access cards, warranties, maintaining courier logs and any ad hoc admin request from the team
  • Facilities Management - co-ordinate maintenance contractors/cleaners
  • Assisting Office Manager and Marketing Manager with organisation of events and any other adhoc issues where required
  • Dealing with recycling/shredding/data destruction
  • Organise access to contractors for the building maintenance and operation
  • Fire warden and first aid responsibilities
Key skills required:
  • Previous receptionist experience for a busy reception desk
  • Strong and clear communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organised and efficient working style
  • Must be able to work in the office 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday
