Job Description

Reception Supervisor - Temporary-Permanent Company providing Reception and Concierge services is seeking an experienced Reception Supervisor to oversee the front of house service at their client site close to Farringdon, London.This is a temporary to permanent position to start ASAP and will pay circa £11.05 per hour whist temporary.The Reception Supervisor will be responsible for receptions staff, the quality of the service provided, ensuring that they create a positive impression. Duties include:

  • Oversee a welcoming, helpful and professional first point of contact to all callers and visitors.
  • Ensure all incoming telephone calls, are answered efficiently.
  • Meet and greet all visitors to the building (colleagues, managers, tenants, landlord representatives and members of the public), providing a friendly, efficient, timely, professional and welcoming environment. Direct to appropriate facilities or staff memberas required.
  • Booking meetings rooms.
  • Ensure the daily list of visitors is kept in reception and that all visitors sign in and out of the building.
  • Ensure the reception area is well presented, tidy and uncluttered, ensuring the reception administration is up to date
  • Contributing to monitoring and ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment in the reception area
  • Day to day security as front of house and organising events
The ideal Reception Supervisor will have the following knowledge skills and experience:
  • Previous Reception / Front of House experience within a corporate environment
  • Previous building or front of house supervision experience
  • PC literate
  • Possess an excellent understanding of customer service
  • Maintain a professional appearance and business-like manner at all times in order to instil confidence in the services provided.
  • Proactive with good communication and leadership skills
  • Experience of organising events.
