R&D ActuaryLondonCompany client currently partnered with a Reinsurance firm in their search for a R&D (Research & Development) Actuary.This is a unique opportunity that will work close in an diverse team of actuaries, data scientists and statisticians. This role will be responsible for researching any developments in the Life / Protection market and you will be expected to understand and presenton these developments with affect the mortality and morbidity risks that the firms clients face.The successful candidate will also:- Manage any emerging risks in the UK Protection market- Provide assumptions data for the reporting and pricing teams- Provide data science support and guidance to the business on new technologies and initiatives that will help provide a better service to their client. This is an excellent opportunity for a forward thinking Actuary or Data Scientist who wants to help change how a Re-insurer operates. This role will have lots of interactions with the Business Development, Pricing and Reporting teams.Protection Pricing experience will be consider but you must also demonstrate further commercial experience.
