Job Description

Job Title: Quantitative ModellerLocation: London We are currently seeking an exceptional Quantitative Modeller to join our esteemed central modelling team in London. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with portfolio managers across various asset classes, providing invaluableanalytics support and developing cutting-edge models.Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with portfolio managers: Work closely with portfolio managers, establishing strong partnerships to deliver essential analytics support across diverse asset classes. Your quantitative expertise will assist portfolio managers in making informedinvestment decisions.
  2. Develop and implement cutting-edge models: Utilize programming languages such as C++ or Python to design, develop, and implement sophisticated models. These models will capture the complexities of various asset classes and contribute to informed decision-making.
  3. Conduct quantitative analysis: Perform rigorous quantitative analysis to evaluate the performance of models. Assess the accuracy, efficiency, and robustness of models, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.
  4. Integration with trading infrastructure: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to seamlessly integrate models into the trading infrastructure. Work with technology and data teams to implement models effectively, enabling efficient trading execution andrisk management.
Qualifications:
  • Strong educational background in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience in quantitative modelling within the financial industry, preferably with exposure to multiple asset classes.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ or Python, with a track record of developing and implementing complex models.
  • Solid understanding of financial markets, trading concepts, and pricing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
