• Design, implement, and validate quantitative models for pricing financial instruments, derivatives, and other complex products.
• Collaborate with traders to create and optimize trading strategies using quantitative analysis, algorithmic models, and risk management techniques.
• Assist in the assessment and management of market, credit, and operational risks by developing and maintaining quantitative risk models.
• Analyse large datasets to identify patterns, opportunities, and risks for decision-making in real-time trading environments.
• Create algorithms and tools to automate trading processes and execute trades based on predefined criteria.
• Work closely with traders, risk managers, and other front-office personnel to understand their needs and provide quantitative solutions that enhance trading performance.
• Keep abreast of industry trends, new quantitative techniques, and market developments to contribute to the development of new strategies and models.

Key Skills and Experience:

• A degree in a quantitative field such as Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees like a Masters or Ph.D. might be preferred.
• Strong knowledge of quantitative methods, mathematical modelling, statistics, and their application in finance and trading.
• Expertise in programming languages like Python, R, C++, or other relevant languages for data analysis, modelling, and automation.
• Deep understanding of financial markets, trading strategies, derivatives, and risk management principles.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
